I am currently in Boston attending eBay Live 2007 and what an unbelievable event it has been. I thought I was extremely knowledgeable as both an eBay Seller AND as an eBay
buyer - but man, have I learned so very much this week. We met Meg Whitman this afternoon, which was a real highlight of the trip. Turns out she has an East Tennessee connection - her in laws live in Sweetwater, TN and her two sons spend time on their farm every summer and LOVE IT! She's so impressive as she has led eBay to become an unparalleled global eCommerce marketplace and she is such a warm and unassuming lady in person.
This past week in Boston has been AMAZING because I was able to combine my passion for eBay selling (learning all that I could - building on my current knowledge), quality time with my family, some photography AND travel. We've had so much fun taking in the sights, history, people and FOOD of Boston. I had to be very careful with the food - it's WONDERFUL. She's so impressive as she has led eBay to become an unparalleled global eCommerce marketplace and she is such a warm and unassuming lady in person.However, the weather was a bit of culture shock at first - we left 88 degree weather in East Tennessee and flew into 52 cloudy and WINDY weather in Boston. But, we hit the ground running and did as much as we could when we weren't at the Boston Event and Convention Center taking in all we could on ALL THINGS eBay!
More about me personally - I live in East Tennessee, which is one of the most beautiful regions in the country, as well as being an area rich with history. I attend estate sales and auctions weekly looking for just the right kind of treasures to list in my store, Tennessee Treasures by Leeann. I do also take upscale or like new merchandise on consignment to sell on eBay for others at a commission rate of 35-45% + fees, depending on the estimated value of the item.

I have a great vision for Tennessee Treasures and my customers mean so much to me - especially the return customers that I have.
